My Heart Smiles

the other night my husband and I were playing music together after we put our kids to bed. we played one song and then our oldest walked into the living room,

“I like your song!”

“Thanks buddy, you wanna sit down and listen? You have to be quiet while we play.”

his eyes lit up and he applauded us after every song.

“This encourages me. It makes my heart happy.”
